this is the jeanine payer ring my sister and i bought recently for my mother for her 80th. i've been a big fan of jeanine payer for years and was excited to discover that she has a blog (she's had it for awhile, but i never came across it before). anyways, the ring has an edna st. vincent millay quote on it, the last verse of the poem "journey" and it goes like this:
