this is the
jeanine payer ring my sister and i bought recently for my mother for her 80th. i've been a big fan of jeanine payer for years and was excited to discover that she has a
blog (she's had it for awhile, but i never came across it before). anyways, the ring has an
edna st. vincent millay quote on it, the last verse of the poem "
journey" and it goes like this:
The world is mine: blue hill, still silver lake,
Broad field, bright flower, and the long white road;
A gateless garden, and an open path;
My feet to follow, and my heart to hold.

I love Edna St. Vincent Millay, especially that poem. What an incredibly beautiful and special piece of jewelry!
so glad you agree!
my favorite jewelry artist ever. the only one i constantly refer to by name for one of my favorite pieces. your mom is so lucky to have you two (and vice versa, i'm sure)
That is one of the most beautiful rings I have ever seen.
